I purchased this chair several years ago when I had a problem arise of pain, lack of strength, and unable to use the lever type chair to recline.It was a hugh assist during that time, and has been so comfortable when I can't sleep in bed, or just can't sleep due to all types of pain, arthritis, muscle tenderness, sprains and etc.I can move me and my discomfort to my chair in another room and not disturb my husband's sleep.When it is fully reclined out, I can getcomfortable and get some sleep,then too.My original flare up of pain was attributed to a reaction to prescription.
