Kitchen Table W/ 4 Chairs , Cuppucino Finish "new" Review

This table should not be bought. I got it as a young bachelor a few years ago. If you want something to class up your place a bit go to K-mart and get a nicer table for cheaper. This table showed up to my house in a box. You would think the box would have protected it but there was already a large scrape on the table before it was actually boxed up. One of my chairs' backs broke while I was pulling it out to sit down. The seat cushions have all become incredibly stained just from sitting on them. The chairs on either side cannot be pushed in fully because they will run in to each other and only allow one side to be fully under the table (on the long side.) Pass up this opportunity. The price of this table and chairs was also $100 less when I bought them. Certainly not at all worth over $300 now. This is also not a cappuccino finish. It was pure black.

The step stool design works well.I have another plain white one - so I knew it was good before I bought this one for my son.

But Disney step n light stool was a horrible purchase.In order for the lights to turn on you need to press a button!The last thing I want is for my son to play with this like a toy.I thought it meant - that when he STEPPED on it, it would light up.

And then it comes covered in stickers.No plastic packaging.Large stickers on top, "Try Me" stickers along the sides, etc.I had to soak it in rubbing alcohol, then oil to get those stickers off cleanly.Of course - that shorted one of the lights so now it won't turn off. Can't return it and I'm so mad I don't want to use it!

After looking at the local "Office" stores, we were unable to find a smaller (armless), adjustable height, desk chair for my school age son that was both a nice, neutral color and a reasonable price. We've had this chair for several weeks now and it's working out great. Assembly was quick & simple, it is comfortable and easy to operate. The only criticism I have is that based on the description & photo, we were expecting it to be navy blue. It is in fact black (color on box says "black"). We received it about 1 - 1.5 weeks after ordering - much quicker than estimated. Overall a good product for a fair price.

This set came in two boxes. I put the chairs together in less than a half hour. If you don't look at the arrows on the chrome legs (part that is screwed to chair)it will not line up. I could have cut 10 minutes off assembly had I done that! The table was easy to put together too but requires a strong person to lift and turn, or an extra pair of hands to help. It is a simple but classy set. The oval glass tapers gracefully at both ends. The chairs are quite comfortable for hard surface seating. There is a nice back supporting curve to the design. These chairs are design classics and will always be in style. The design of the set will work well with contemporary, transitional or ecclectic rooms. Because the top is glass and the style is so clean, it has a light foot print. In other words if you have a lot of dark or heavy pieces nearby, it might dwarf the set. The second tier of glass is a nice feature. I put a very geometric piece on it. This adds interest (and color if you want) to table. When you install the smaller glass tier, it's frosted. Put the textured side on facing the floor. You will still have the effect without the cleaning problem. Also, if you want to put holiday or occassion decor on smaller tier, you will have the effect of a centerpiece and the use of your whole table top. If you like clean lines and classic contemp, go for it! You won't be sorry. This table and chairs looks far more expensive than it's very,very,very reasonable price. Click on some of the contemp furn houses and you will similaritems for $2000.00 and up! I do home staging for a living and I'd use this set in a high $ home. I'm really happy! Can you tell?!

Guidecraft Creation Station Art Center Review

We purchased this for our children for Christmas, and the day after Christmas it started falling apart. The "wood" is actually a very cheap and flimsy particle board, and it isn't sturdy enough to hold the screws which hold it in place!
First, the hinge in the arm that holds up the drying rack fell out, the drying rack (I should mention) also came out of the box with a broken rod.
I called the company, and they are sending me replacement pieces.
This afternoon I heard a crash, and ran to the livingroom to find the drying rack on the floor. The weight of the drying rack appears to be too much for the cheap particle board, the table top edge that holds the screws is literally crumbling under its weight! So now the table top is ruined, and we have no way to reattach the new drying rack that is on the way!
I must say, I am rather concerned about letting the children sit on the stools for fear that they will collapse beneath them!
I was also very disappointed in the plastic cups for water/ paints and the trays. They are a cheap plastic, similar to plastic disposable cups. I give it a month before they are cracked or broken, and I'm requesting new ones.
I would not recommend this art station. I really wish that I had spent more money and bought one that was more durable.

Set Of 4 Chairs In A Rich Cappuccino Finish "new" Review

I bought these chairs because I liked the way they looked and the price was right.The chairs were packed very well, arrived undamaged and all the parts were included.They were pretty easy to assemble. My son and I put all four chairs together in about an hour.

The chairs look exactly like the picture except the seat appears to be a bit darker than pictured.Now here comes the problem.After all four chairs were assembled, I asked my son to sit down and let me know how the chair felt.Well, both of us are not large people, he is approximately 5'10" and 165# (I guess, I'm not too good at estimating a man's weight) and I'm about 5'3", 125#.His comment to me was that the chair was okay but not for siting for a long period of time.When I sat down in the chair I understood what he meant.The seat is very plush and comfortable but the back is too straight and the wood kept digging into my back.I had to move around to find a more comfortable position.I'm keeping the chairs for now but someday in the future, if I find a more comfortable and affordable alternative, I'll replace them.

Ordered two sets of these chairs expecting a nice chair for this price.Chairs were much better quality then I expected. The chairs are much heavier in weight than I thought they would be, I don't know if they actually are wrought iron or just a high quality metal, but they certainly have the weight, feel and appearance of wrought iron. The fabric on the cushions is beautiful, heavy weight and compliments the chairs beautifully. My cats immediately tried out their claws on the chair seats after putting the chairs together and were unable to leave a single mark on the fabric. I wasn't sure how comfortable the seat backs would be with the metal scroll work and all, but the angle and the curve of the seatback make this one of the most comfortable dining chairs I have ever had the pleasure of sitting in. I highly recommend these chairs.

I ordered this set at a much higher price. When it arrived, I was moving to a new home and this would be our only breakfast table. When I openned the package, the pedestal was cracked in several places. One chair arm was also cracked. I had to put them together and hope they would hold until the company sent a replacement. The company (Visiondecor) was very slow to respond and required photos of the damage. I had to send the photos twice which caused more delay. They then wanted me to return the pedestal before they would send a replacement. No telling how long this would have taken. I tried to pay for a replacement and they would not consider this approach. Since time was dragging on, I gave up and paid a handyman to have the pedestal repaired (rebuilt).Don't count on customer service from this company!

I bought these chairs for my two sons 12 & 13 for Easter.The chairs looked great and the boys really enjoyed them for about 3 weeks when we were sitting in our game room one day and I heard this awful snap.My son was leaning back in the chair playing a video game and suddenly he was on the floor on his back.I unzipped the cover to see why the chair back had broken and couldn't believe my eyes...the chair is made of thick styrofoam.The same stuff disposable coffee cups are made of.What a waste of $$$.The next week the 2nd chair broke the same exact way.The styrofoam must not handle the stress of gamers over any length of time.I suppose if you just sat in them and did not lean back - they might last a full 2 months, better yet don't let anyone sit in them and they'll possibly last until the styrofoam deteriorates.Don't waste your money...I'm glad I'm here to help the next person.

When I first got this product, I was very disappointed.

The box was seriously damaged and there was a big whole.

And this led to a part missing : a wheel.

The packaging quality was horrible.

The parts were scattered everywhere inside the box.

The instruction was not so clear and it was hard to connect the back part and the sitting cushion part.

The screws were extremely hard to take out and also hard to put back. If you are planning to buy this product, think again.

COBBLESTONE Bamboo Rug Review

This was a great purchase. It covers a large area.I bought several different bamboo rugs to cover new hard wood floors from dog paws.This way we still have hard wood floors but they withstand the jumping and running from dogs.There are built in anti slip mats under the rug.The rug does sometimes manage to get its end tucked under, but I think that is due to active dog play.The picture is accurate, the color is a nice rich chocolate with a few texture points.

Don't let the name fool you.This is made in China, not in North or South Carolina.It is made of some flimsy tropical wood that doesn't hold screws.The screws in the drawer hinges pulled out and only sawdust was left where the screws used to be.The finish is thinner than paper and easily scratched off.The parts were packaged in flimsy polystyrene sheets that disintegrated and made a huge mess as the parts were removed from the box.This piece of junk is so unworthy of the usual fine products found on this web site.

Once we assembled this glider, we could barely fit in it. Let me say also, that my husband and I are not big people either, so if you are taller than average or even slightly wide in the hip area, I would NOT recommend this chair. The side flaps come off every time you try to stand up, which is a pain. I would return this in a second, except Amazon's return policy states it is only returnable if unopened and in its original packaging. Well, obviously it's not since we needed to open the package to piece it together. Waste of money.

Mission Futon Twin Lounger w/ 9" Premium Futon Mattress Review

This item is exceptional for the price. It is sturdy, looks good and comfortable. It is a little bulk when changing it's variety of multiple positions than I would like but then what futon isn't. After all your dealing with moving a small mattress around.
I found the customer service to be excellent. Any questions I had were answered promptly.
All and all I am very pleased with my purchase.
