These Wenge chairs are used by me on each side of a phone/tea table. They are very easy to assemble. The finished product leaves me to wonder. At the back of the seat is a gap.

Set of 2 Oak Finish High Back Dining Side Chairs/Chair Review

The shipment of these chairs arrived promptly.They were well packaged to prevent damage during shipment, as well.Assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow.The shape and height of the chair backs make them very comfortable.The only thing that surprised me was the pattern on the seat cushions (small gold-ish yellow and white checks) which wasn't at all clear on any of the pictures on the website and not something I'd normally choose.They looked tan in the pictures.My initial thought was that the seats could be easily recovered with another fabric and a staple gun but as I've gotten used to them, they are actually very neutral and subtle and can blend well with most any decor.The "oak" colored wood blends well with the "real" oak table we use with them, so I have no problem with the fact that the wood, itself, is not oak.The wood is well finished and should hold up well to our rambunctious family.One feature that appealed to me is that these chairs are not overly large (wide), so you can get more of them around a table than you could if they were the size of many of the other chairs we considered.They are plenty wide and comfortable for the normal backside.

These chairs are great!I bought them for a christmas gift for my daughter.
The construction appears to be very sound, although as of yet I have not assembled the chairs.I have taken one set out of the box and all looks great.The price is fantastic, the seat cushions would have been just fine for myself, but the younger generation like's colors that pop.My solution, I went and spent under $5.00 on fabric and re-covered the seat cushions.A very simple change for a modern look! I can't assemble the chairs until later this month, but even my very picky husband is impressed with the quality of these chairs.I would have given them a 5 star reading but the assembly directions could use some improvement.This is my only and minor complaint.
I also must add that for myself I have bought several products via Amazon and not once have I run into one problem.This can't be said about some other online buying sites.These chairs are just beautiful and I think anyone else considering them wouldn't be dissapointed in any way!

7pc Contemporary Cappuccino Finish Wood Dining Table & Chair Set Review

When I received this set the first thing I noticed is that its color is WENGE instead of CAPPUCCINO.it was written on the boxes.And wenge is a color light yellowish brown and black strikes on it.When I opened the boxes I also noticed table top part was defective.I contacted the seller,
they said they have only one color they sell,it was this.And they filed a claim to shipping company .It is refused. Now,I want a replacement table top and they try to sell me for it $ 80 + $ 75 shipping = $150 .
Their packaging insufficient to support furniture,it was flimsy.
They try to make money out of their defective products.
Two months later,they say they would refund my money. They are asking me to pay the shipment for return as well. Is this fair?

I was in need of a couple of comfortable reading chairs for the Den. I went to many stores and looked all over the Internet. I wanted microfiber because it cleans easily. The chair was easy to put together and arrived in less than a week. It is a bit darker than in the picture but goes great with my wall color. I purchased 2 chairs and got a better price than if I would have purchased them directly from the seller's site. After sitting in my chairs, I am sure I made the best purchase. I would recommend this chair to anyone shoping for a great chair at a great price.

5pc Cappuccino Finish Counter Height Dining Table And 4 Barstools Set Review

I rarely order "bolt together" furniture, but the cost of a similar looking set at my usual furniture store (offering 'underprices') was nearly double, so I took a chance and ordered this 5-pce contemporary dining set to replace a traditional-style oak set.A day or 2 after order placement, I received a call to confirm my order and provide delivery details.The set arrived on time (within 7-10 days of order).After carefully removing each piece from the double box and impact foam it was packed in, I noticed a couple of minor blemishes caused by movement during shipping. Fortunately, the blemishes are in places that aren't noticeable after assembly.The set is made entirely of furniture-grade hardwood (no cheap particle board) and the parts bolt or screw together.Assembly took me 2 hours at a relaxed pace.All hardware (nuts, bolts & washers) and an Allen wrench is included.Additionally, for assembly, you'll need a Phillips head screwdriver and (optional) wood glue for the dowels. I've been using the set for several days and am pleased with it.Only negative comment I have it with respect to the screws used to fasten the seating pads, which I found to be too long.The instructions call for use of 1-1/2" screws (incl.), but, when screwed down, these can be felt when sitting...OUCH!Fortunately, I pushed down on the seating pad with my hand and felt the sharp screw before I made the mistake of sitting on it.I ended up using the shorter screws (incl.) for affixing the seating pads and the 1-1/2" screws to fasten the stretchers to the front and rear legs of the stools, which is the reverse of what the instructions tell you to do.An easy fix.Compared to other similar looking, comparably priced, but sometimes lesser quality sets I saw, this 5 pce set represents a very good investment, which I'm confident will provide years of reliable service and will hold up to daily use by my family of 4.

Noah's Ark 5-pc. Table and Chairs Set Review

I purchased this for my grandchildren to use when they are in my home. They were thrilled to have a place to sit that is just their size. The colors and shapes are bright and cheerful. Maybe when they are a little older, Noah's Ark will provide for educational value. Mac Motion Chairs Model 2-Piece Recliner with Matching Ottoman with Alpine Frame Review

The photo is accurate, and the chair is comfortable with good lumbar support. I would classify it a hybrid between a recliner and an office chair.I wanted a chair for my carpeted home office that swivels but did not have casters, so this fits the bill.The base came with foam pads already attached to the base with adhesive, probably so it would not slip on a hard floor. I had to scrape them off so that the chair could be easily moved across carpet.
The directions are minimal and the assembly of the one I got took a lot of strength.They provide Allen wrenches but the bolts were pre-treated with thread lock and the threads weren't very clean. It was all I could do to tighten them and I am a 200 lb guy. Plus the Allen wrenches don't fit the heads of the bolts very well.
I am not sure how well this will hold up because the seat is affixed with two 1/4 inch bolts that serve as both load bearing points as well as pivots for the sliding seat when the chair is reclined.I would have preferred bushings or even bearings.
The only adjustment is to recline the seat- activated by a large wooden knob under the chair on the right side. There is no adjustment for seat back position or chair height.
I think for the price that the quality would have been a little higher, but the chair does suit my home-office needs very well and I plan to be careful with it so it lasts.

Outback Chair OB-817 Chair Frame, Platinum Review

The model is right, the box was right, the Outback Chair brand was right, and the included directions do say "C Frame".

However I did NOT get the item pictured, so I uploaded some of my own to share. My chair as assembled was 73" wide, 60" deep, and 94" tall!! I think this frame takes up more space than my car AND IT IS TOO TALL TO FIT INDOORS!!!

So now I have $380 worth of scrap steel in my living room since I bought TWO!! "Return" shipping on top of the previous shipping charge would make this a ridiculous loss even if I managed to return them.

I have no idea how this "right box/wrong item" could have happened. Outback Chair doesn't show anything like this on their site. No word back yet from the seller/Amazon on how to correct this situation yet.

This is a knockoff of the "real" Emeco 1006 chair, but it's a good quality one. The welds around the seat are sanded clean, the legs are an integral part of the seat, the bends feel clean, and the finish is real brushed aluminum, not brushmark paint. Your designer friends will still be able to tell you didn't spring for the real thing because it has 5 slats at the back (vs 3 in the Emeco) and 1 slat on the bottom brace (vs 2 in the Emeco). But for $125 vs $375, I'm willing to make that sacrifice.

Carolina Cottage Hudson Rocker Review

Read the dimensions carefully. This is the second rocking chair that I have bought. The first one was more comfortable, but its seat was made up of springs, fastened with large staples. They started coming loose during the first two weeks. I'm 5'7 and weigh 170. Yes, I'm overweight. With this chair, I have about 3 1/2" of space left. The length of the seat supports me only about half way up my thighs. The seat cushion I placed on it hangs 2 1/2" inches over the front of the seat. My back is not shaped like the back of the chair, either. So I added a back cushion, which just makes my legs hang over even more. I found out today that unless I exert a lot of effort, the chair won't rock back. (I haven't been home in while.) What I'm saying is that manufacturers are doing a poor job of telling people what sizes their chairs will support. If you have short legs and a butt of no more than 36" and weigh no more than 150, then this might be your chair. It is beautiful, but impractical for most people.

I ordered 2 sets of chairs.The wood has a very nice finish, however one brace between the front legs had a horizontal split approximately 1/3 of the length of the wood. The company did replace the defective chair without question but I suggest that all pieces be checked before beginning assembly.

Long ago, we had purchased our dinette set from a furniture discounter.After many card parties, dinner parties, game nights, and double-occupancies (couples sitting on each others' laps, etc.) the chairs collapsed one by one not to be saved by our several Gorilla Glue attempts.

The table is still in excellent condition so our only option was to find chairs in the same stain and since we still had one-and-a-half good chairs out of the set we wanted to match the same arrow back style.We'd searched bricks and mortar locations high and low to no avail.Finally, I did a search with the parameters that we needed (arrow back, natural oak) and we found exactly what we needed!!!

The price was a steal, and the shipping was timely!(Just in time for another of my husband's poker parties!)Assembly for the four chairs was simple enough and completed by the two of us in just about an hour.

Our expectations are realistic, these, too, won't last forever, but they matched our two remaining chairs almost perfectly and they should last us a few more years of card parties, game nights, dinner parties and (newly added to our lifestyle) kid-climbing, standing, and booster-chairing it!

Bottom line...Great value for the money, but don't expect them to last a lifetime, or to hold your 400 pound friend for any longer than a few sittings.

Outback Chair OB-800 Chair Frame, Black Review

Plain and simple, this stand is too short for the chair I have. Maybe I need to get a smaller chair. At first, I couldn't attach the chair to the ring, to hang it. I had to rig it on the top, and it was fine. When I did get something to hang it with, it hung way too low, and I was actually sitting on the bottom part of the stand. So, back to rigging it like before. Now, even with that, it's too low since the chair stretched. I'll have to see about finding a shorter chair since it would be way to much of a hassle and too expensive to send the stand back.

This was a gift for our daughter's first birthday.It is very cute and well constructed.However, some of the hardware was defective.With a simple run to the hardware store we were able to put it together completely.Our daughter loves the little engraved animals on the table and chairs, she is constantly touching and pointing to them.It's been a big hit.She's still a bit of a clumsy walker, so you have to be careful about potential head bonking!I imagine it would be perfect for a 2 year old.

Everything that the first reviewer of this product said is true (no pre-drilled seats, assembly is unique every time).I ordered a pair of these chairs and they're working out wonderfullly...but it took multiple, frustrating hours to get there.My seats lacked any directions for assembly, so, there was some redo work involved.Also, if you're not comfortable drilling (read: you will need a drill) your own holes for the seat pads...stay away.

The assembled chairs are comfortable for what they are.They look very cute and they should hold up for a few years.

The simple inclusion of assembly instructions would bump my review up by a star.As it stands, I can't rate semi-tricky, DIY furniture (without instructions) any higher than three stars.

Mac Motion Chairs Model 2-Piece Recliner with Matching Ottoman with Walnut Frame Review

This chair is very comfortable and I am glad I got it.The mocha color is much darker than in the pic -- I'd call it more of a taupe/light brown.I got it to replace my office chair and it sure is an upgrade.Good lumbar support and good height for the pillow.

They said it would take 2 weeks to be delivered, but two days after I ordered it, the shipping company called to say they were delivering the next day.So three days after I ordered it online, an 18 wheeler pulled up to my house, and the shipping charges were free.

It was not hard to assemble, and all the parts are quality construction with welded steel and nice hardwood.

I was hesitant to buy such a chair online without sitting in it first, but I am very happy with it.If you don't need an office chair on wheels and you might like to recline and put your feet up while you work, go for the upgrade with this chair.

After browsing a few sites for a zebra print chair I chose this one because I wanted WHITE and black print not tan and black as pictured on other sites.As it turns out this chair is tan and black and not the pure white and black as shown on this site. These chairs were damaged in shipping.Pieces of the seat chipped off.The color variation between chairs are very noticeable.One of the chair has different shade of white.The seat has a creamy white while the rest of the chair has a frost white color.Two of them have holes under the top rail.It is as if it was drilled for a different pattern.I am going to return them and get my money back.Amazon is very good with their return policy and that was why I took the chance and order furniture online.

Kidkraft Avalon Table and Chair Set - Espresso Review

I bought the table and chair set as a Christmas gift for my 3 yr old granddaughter and 18 month old grandson.This set is big for their current size.I am pleased that this set will last them into early grade school years.The design is such that when they begin school it can be used as a desk.It appears to be sturdy and well made.I like the fact that I can purchase additional matching chairs.
