The chair arrived promptly and was fairly simple to put together and the seat cushion is fairly substantial. The Pneumatic gas lift works fine as well but that's the end of the good points.

The product description says there's an adjustable tilt tension knob (which there is) only thing is the chair doesn't tilt. The high back would be nice IF it actually supported your back, but the curvature of the back of the chair is designed that it doesn't even come close to your back (when sitting up straight). You must be leaning back to come in contact with the back of the chair and leaning even further back to have your head be supported by the top of the chair. I don't know about most people but I don't usually 'lay down' when trying to 'sit' at my desk and work.I'm disappointed that I spent such a large sum on such a poor quality chair, especially when what I was most looking for was support for my back as I do a lot of computer work at my desk.

Holes and the pins don't assemble. Called their number, they seem to know of these defects. But they are not ready to send a replacement. They want me to go to Amazon and get replacement! Recommendation: Do not buy , poor quality product sold at premium price I am going to return it right away.

Boss Big Person'S Chair Black Review

I'm a big guy - 6'3", 240lbs, built like a linebacker... and since I'm a web producer, I spend a large part of my day sitting at a computer. In my experience, almost every office chair I've ever owned has been both horrendously uncomfortable and unbelievably fragile... that is, until I stumbled on the Boss Big Man's Chair.

I found this chair sitting out at a local Fry's store a couple years ago (unfortunately, they don't seem to carry this chair any more), and thought it looked sturdy... so I gave it a go. Not only is the chair built like a tank (heavy-duty reinforced metal frame, heavy suede leather material), it's one of the most comfortable office chairs I've ever sat in. It also uses an extremely strong tension-based latch system for locking the chair into a reclined position at whatever angle is most comfortable for YOU (as opposed to the flimsy little bar that other chairs use to lock into a single, predetermined reclining position). The backrest is likewise very sturdy and (as the picture shows) offers very good lumbar support (bonus for those with bad backs). It's also very wide, too wide for my tastes, personally, but I can see that as an added bonus for some fellas.

Considering the number of flimsy, uncomfortable chairs from Costco and Office Max that I've broken over the years, this chair has not only saved my butt (and back), but it's saved me money. If you're a big guy in search of a good, reliable, comfortable office chair - you just can't go wrong with this one. It will be the last office chair you'll ever have to buy.

I purchased a table from a well recognized furnishing store (initials PB) and these chairs are almost identical to the upholstered chairs they sell with the table.. but much cheaper. I'm saving over $1200 going with these alternative chairs since I needed eight chairs (four sets). Very easy to assemble (just have to connect front chair legs to seat and seat to chair back)... I put these together with out any help from my husband. The only thing to be aware of is the picture above is a little different from the actual chair I received. The seat bottom is an upholstered tan microsuede and the chair seat does not have a 'weathered style' on the sides. I contacted Vision Decor re: this after opening the box and they were very prompt in returning my message, asked for a photo of the seat I received, and after researching informed me the manufacturer changed the seat without notifying them. Vision Decor offered to give me a complete refund if I wanted to return the chairs but I turned their offer down since the chairs are nice how they are and if I want to change the fabric I can have them re-upholstered and still save 50% of what I would have paid at the other store.The chairs are very sturdy (unlike some alternatives I've seen @ other stores) and comfortable.. plus you can't beat the savings!

Quite a bargain ($52 including shipping) and my 18 month old daughter loves it.She plays and eats snacks at the table.She hasn't fallen off the chairs even though they have no back, but she has trouble getting on them by herself. She mostly likes to push the chairs all around the room (I put felt pads on the bottoms).It was also easy to put together.I would recommend this set.Update:I've had this set for a few years and it has held up great, the only thing I want to mention is that when I use a Clorox wipe the orange rubs off on it, making us wonder what's the paint made of and is it non-toxic.Although I normally provide a plate, my kids sometimes eat off the table directly.Also, I love the fact that if one of the legs starts to get loose, you just twist it back on tighter, you don't have to go find a screwdriver.

We purchased this chair from Amazon a yr ago.After about 9 mos the ropes frayed and in Dec completely broke.The chair has been on the floor for over a month. 4D Concepts Tufted High Back Kids Chair, Pink/White Floral Review

We purchased this chair for our 3 year-old's birthday. It arrived the next day and it is very, very cute. But, the packaging should have been better. One of the washers slipped out of the box, though fortunately this happened inside our house, so we found it. The finishing on the chair is sloppy. You can, if you look closely at the picture, see some piping around the back of the chair. It is not at all a clean sewing job and detracts from the chair, which is designed to look sophisticated. Finally, and this is the kicker for me, the fabric on our chair has some beige discoloration. If I could get a replacement in time for the birthday, I would put up with the hassle of returning this. Alas, it is out of stock.

It has storage which may be better for a 3-6 year old but has been a source of drama for us with our 1-2 year old. He likes to grab things and put them in there. If we need to take the chair apart, we can. But it's waaay too difficult for him and it's never come apart on its own. This is a nice, durable chair that's worth the money. And my child, like many others from the reviews I've read, likes to push this around and be pushed around while sitting on it.

We bought this table set because it matched the Lifestyle Deluxe Kitchen we bought for our 2-yr-old for Christmas.It is very pretty & looks so nice with the kitchen.However, the chairs will not stay up!My daughter has another table set from Ikea, and the chairs are very stable & sturdy.These chairs are so narrow & top-heavy.She keeps flipping over.My nieces and nephews all have flipped over in them, too.I'm sending it back & getting something else.I don't want to have to worry that she's going to get hurt.It's looks are just not worth risking my daughter's safety to me!

Avalon Chair Review

We bought the Avalon chair & table set and two additional chairs. They are beautiful and very strong--adults sit on them with no problem. They are a little big for the smallest children (age 2 and under), but sit even 8 and 9 year olds comfortably. My children use this table for crafts; for dinner parties; etc. The only problem is that the table surface can be easily marked--we have a green marker line across the top and a crayon line up one leg. I'd think that the table could have a more wipe-clean surface. Food stains wipe up easily--but I think that some crayons and markers (and not just permanent ones) can stain the surface.

This table is one of my tip-top best Amazon bargains, of very high quality and sold elsewhere for well over $300. It shipped for only $3.49 in a matter of four days! I read every review I could find about the shipper Amazon designated, CEVA, and although a few were negative, I had amazing service from them. The huge package (87 pounds) was put exactly where I asked for it, not a single ding on the box. I called ahead to tell CEVA I would not be home. Their phone people were polite and helpful. They very cordially asked me to leave a signed note - no big deal - and they hauled it up an icy driveway, then up icy stairs. I am very pleased to get the item within four days. (Now, FedEx may not have done that and would have charged more!) The table is a well-designed, perfectly crafted piece of furniture, a super find. If Amazon offers it again, I highly recommend buying it, with no shipping concerns at all.

I would agree with what the other reviewers say about the beauty and functionality, however, neither Amazon nor the manufacturer provide adequate warnings about the suggested use of the product.Let's be fair, most people buy a chairmat because they have a carpeted floor and it's too hard to roll your office chair on that.But this particular floormat is intended only for use on hard floors.

As soon as I rolled it out on my carpeted floor, I thought "Uh-oh! this isn't going to work!" The wood slats are pretty thin; when you roll a chair over them in this situation, the slats flex so much it seems that damage is iminent.And it feels way too flimsy anyway.

Many people do use these to protect hardwood floors from being scratched up due to the constant rolling of an office chair.This chairmat should work fine for that. But NOT for carpets!

Nia Corner Chair Review

I saw this little chair in a store about a month ago, and thought it was very stylish, but wasn't sure it was going to be well made. I weigh 260lbs, and am always leary of small furniture. So I gave it the old "fat butt" test, and plopped myself down into it. It didn't creak, squeak, or seem to mind me wiggling around. It is also amazingly comfortable for a chair of THIS STYLE. No, it is not like a couch, but most little corner chairs are cute, and not very functional. I can easily see myself lounging with friends and having cocktails in this little thing. I have two, and they make into a cute love seat, and I just ordered the new armless one to put in the middle. I am always shifting them around the room, depending on the occasion, to make different seating arrangments. I just wish they came in different colors.

KidKraft Activity Center with Stools Review

The KidKraft Activity Center is just like the Lego branded one except this one is priced almost $100 less and has stools rather than chairs.
It was easy to build and is convinient form my 6 year old boy and 9 year old daugthter to use.

Legos fit in the center and the table tops on each station can be flipped for a flat surface.We only use Lego's so I cannot comment on Duplo.

The delivery in Texas was quick and my children play on it every day.

I am a serious bargain shopper especially when it comes to household furniture. I had my eye on this chair for a long time and am glad I bought it. I had been searching for a leather club chair for our living room.I narrowed the choices down to this chair and one other.We finally decided, after reading the reviews on this chair, to go with it.I am very happy we did.The chair looks wonderful.It is a breeze to assemble, and very reasonably priced.The reason I say it is "more stylish than comfortable" is because I think it is really more of an occasional chair, not an everyday lounge chair.If you're looking for a chair to spread out on and watch movies for hours at a time in, this is probably not the chair for you.If, however, you're looking for a chair for occasional use that looks great in your room, I would highly recommend this one.

Mission Faux-Leather Chair Review

This chair arrived on time, as advertised.The assembly was easy - my 12 year old son put the whole thing together by himself!(one of the pieces wasn't marked very well, it was a little difficult to figure out which piece it was).Once assembled, it's really quite nice!
It did arrive with a few dings in the wood, can't tell if it was boxed that way, or if those are the result of shipping. They aren't bad enough for me to go through the trouble of returning it, though.
Have gotten a lot of compliments about it already.The "leather" is very dark brown, could easily be mistaken for black in the right light.
My only real complaint was the cost of shipping - there were no deals available for shipping, and the cost was hefty.
I would highly recommend ordering the ottoman with it. I did not, and wish I had.Considering ordering it later, if I can find a deal on shipping.

Round Table and Chair Set Review

While this set of chairs and 'matching' table look fairly cute, the quality is terrible. One of the chairs is already falling apart and I've had the set less than a month. In addition, sitting in the chairs to do something at the table (i.e., eat) is horribly painful for your shoulders and back as the chair height is far too high for the table!!

well you've been so sweet about checking with him about our recent shipment of our much awaited for retro style kitchen table.
i'm afraid i am the bearer of bad news.
after the fun and excitement of recieving this table we had to paint the kitchen to set the stage for the perfect kitchen. much anxiouty and painting and money , not to mention now we just have to get new curtains!! wefinished up the painting late this afternoon. we had to stop for dinner, you see, i work out of my home, and michael's son came over on his only day off to do the painting for us so we could expidite the unvailing. when dinner was finished and michael took his boy home, my daughter and i decided we could put the table together ourselves. how funny when we took 10 minutes to get the box open only to find another box inside. we opened it top side down since we had already figured out that is how you put a table together. we carefully read the instuctions, took inventory and proceeded to put the legs together and attach them to the underside of the talbe. we could hardly wait to turn the table over and center it in the middle of our sun room. as we tipped the table onto it's side , from the box it had come in , it was my daughter who noticed it first. a chip. about the size of a quarter. our hearts sunk. upon furthur investigation, we saw a gash in the box were the chip was. apparently the table had been damaged prior to it's even being put into the shipping box. you have no idea how disappointed we all are. michael was so beside himself he has asked me to tell you what happened. he is heartbroken. this was my christmas present. he was so excited to give it to me, but i made him wait to even open it til it could be put in the perfect, clean kitchen. i know you will make this right. i'm not sure how. more than anything we want a table without a chip in it. please tell us how we can rectify this. we are going to wait til tomorrow to open the chairs, because we just couldn't stand another disappointment tonight. we are both so very very tired.please contact michael the moment you recieve this. we really appreciate how nice you have been and as i told michael from the way you've been so far, i just know you'll be anxious to help us replace this table asap....thank you much...

Outback Chair OBP-367 Polycord Hammock Review

Bought for husband to replace cotton one that rotted away in only two years.The poly cord is shedding whitish stuff which means he won't use it anymore.So the "no rot" aspect has been trumped by the "ruins clothes and possibly toxic" problems.We've had it too long to return.

Also, had to return the first one because the stretcher bar had a crack all the way through.You would think they would have seen that.
UPDATE JULY 19, 2008: The replacement one has broken two ropes would have broken more if it's intended victim hadn't leaped for safety.After less then four months of use it is broken and useless.DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Zuo Lider Black Leatherette Office Chair Review

Lider Chairs from Zuo Modern or rather Zuo Disaster !
I got 2 of this chair that I purchased from July of Last year (2007), one of the chair broke last September (2007) and the other one got the same problem, broken Piston last January (2008)......the company send me 2 new pistons and an instruction how to replace them.... after hours of hitting the broken piston out of the chair base, it ruined my chairmat and my carpet as well, so I called them again for assistance, their customer support told me that these chairs were designed in such a way that you can't really take them apart for safety reason. So at this point I gave up, instruction to replace the piston is a JOKE ! after less than a year, I lost $400 and I got 2 useless chairs.
I did get a free replacement chair from them, but by the rate how these chairs are breaking, I'll need to buy one every 3 months.
The sad part is I got these 2 chairs to replace two temporary chairs that I got from IKEA, thank God! the IKEA chairs are still working amazingly well.
Oh Ya, regarding the free chair....Today is March 16, 2008, my third Lider Chair is broken too, same problem, the broken piston, way to go Zuo Disaster.
Please try another chair or another company! Be safe !

Room Magic Magic Desk Hutch Review

Material itself isn't half bad. It is actually wood and not MDF board.And the finished product does look nice enough.Now the bad part.Two small divider panels with dowels do not line up with the holes on the two larger panels on top and bottom and the premade hole for a screw to secure the small panel to larger panel below don't line up either.This problem MIGHT be isolated to my shipment or there might be whole lot more bad batch out there.

I had to crush and rip out the dowels that are glued to the small panels so that I could secure divider boards with the screw thinking securing it with screw would be better than using 1 dowel to sucure it.Sounds complicated huh?That is because premade holes don't line up with anything!You can only use 1 of the dowels OR screw to connect the small divider panel to the larger panel below and above.When I used screw to secure it,approx 2mm of the back end of the divider was sticking out and getting in the way back panel from being pushed down along the side slots.I had to turn the divider board to make room, slide the back panel down and hammer the divider panel back into the place which made some scrape marks on the back board.In retrospect, it would have been better to remove the BACK dowels and use the front dowels to secure the small divider board instead of screw. I could have avoided dividers being sticking out. I realized that AFTER I removed both dowels so I was sorta stuck with what I had.

If you have table saw or something, just removed approx 2mm off the back, remove both dowels and use screw and everything should fall into place.If you don't have the table saw, remove the BACK dowels with plier.You might want to double check the dimension first though since the measuring error might be different for different batch.

Wooden Chair Set of 2 Cappuccino Finish Light Cream Cushions Review

At first, I was a bit worried from reading reviews about bad experiences on furniture shipment, but I decided to give it a try.I ordered 6 chairs, and they arrived well packaged within 23 days.There was no confirmation or shipping info for 10 days, and they shipped immediately after I contacted the merchant.I received the "rich cappuccino" finish instead of "cappuccino" as it says here.So it's a nice dark (almost black, but not quite) finish, which I like, but it doesn't match with our cherry dining table.But for such a great price and after waiting for the chairs to arrive for so long, I didn't want to go through the hassle of asking for the correct item or wait again on delivery.

I really like the shape of these chairs; they look contemporary...just my style.The cushions are actually textured (light cream) and much nicer than shown on the picture here.Assembly was not too hard; all the pieces fit nicely.Made in Malaysia.Overall, a great buy.

Carolina Cottage Coastal Side Table Review

The materials are great but the assembly on my two tables went very poorly. I had to inject glue into some of the joints or the table would fall apart. With the extra attention they are OK but I would not recommend this product to anyone.
